At Claridge's, the Ministry's messhall

Despite the simplicity of menus in the dining hall of the Ministry of Armament, at the Claridge, meat was still served twice a day there in March 1916 (although the evening meal was certainly leftovers from the mid-day meal presented in some other way). And they even served oranges as dessert!
